A: Direct Relief International is a medical assistance and disaster relief agency based in Santa Barbara, California. Since 1948, Direct Relief has provided material assistance to indigenously run health care facilities and projects by supplying them with specifically requested and medically appropriate pharmaceuticals, supplies, nutritional supplements, and medical equipment. We serve the poor and victims of natural and civil disasters without regard to political affiliation, religious belief, ethnic identity, or ability to pay.
