英语意群怎么划分的??

意群一般要根据上下文、按照基本意义来划分，可以以短语为单位。
如：Last Sunday evening, most of my classmates went to Chrismas party held by Mr. John.
如果根据意群，朗读时可以按照下列方式在意群之间稍微停顿一下：
Last Sunday evening, most of my classmates went to Chrismas party held by Mr. John.
Last Sunday evening,/ 是时间状语
most of my classmates /是主语
went to Chrismas party /是谓语
held by Mr. John.是定语

又如：During the Spring Festival, as a rule, the Chinese people have a get-together or visit friends.
如果根据意群，朗读时停顿应该是：
During the Spring Festival,/ as a rule,/ the Chinese people /have a get-together /or visit friends.
