你的眼影，粉饼，睫毛膏，唇彩，化妆水等可以带上飞机，（may take limited quantities of liquids, gels and aerosols in their cabin bag including travel-size toiletries such as: shampoo，suntan，lotion，creams，toothpaste，hair gel ，hair spray）但是有要求：
* Place all liquid containers in a separate clear plastic, zip-top bag no larger than 8 inches x 8 inches (20 cm x 20 cm) or is quart size. Items must fit in the bag comfortably so that it closes completely.
* Individual liquid containers should be no larger than 3.4 ounces/100 ml.
* Remove the plastic bag from the cabin bag at the security checkpoint for separate x-ray screening.

指甲油等要托运，不能带上飞机。
身上的装饰品如果是金属制品，在安检时须摘下，安检之后可以带走（不过建议你随身最好少带）
电脑软件盘可以带，盗版光盘按说是不让带，不过你可以放在托运行李里藏好。
你应该能在学校网站上看到你的专业将要学的课程，可以在国内买点相关的中文书，刚到那边课可能听不懂，多问老师，自己多看。
如果你要在美国考托福的话可以带点托福的书。不用太多。到那边尽量少和中国人扎堆，多和本地人在一起对英语有好处。
