4月8日，广东省首次小学英语阅读教学交流会在石岐中心小学综合楼四楼的演播厅隆重举行。来自深圳、珠海、江门、东莞、新会的5名老师和中山市两名老师分别上了一节小学英语阅读教学的研讨课。7名老师都只有24小时的备课时间，上课的语言材料是临时抽签的全新的内容，同时借班上课，上课时间只有30分钟，这对于每一位上课的老师都是一个极大的挑战和考验。但即使是只有短暂的准备时间，7节课一样是各具特色，精彩纷呈，体现了每位执教老师对于小学阅读课堂教学的思考、探索和实践，收到了很好的交流效果，上课现场不时有老师会心的微笑和热烈的掌声，不少与会的老师都很感慨地说：“这次交流会举办得真好，我们收获很大！”
作为观摩活动的成员之一，我也收获很大。7位老师授课后，来自省教厅教研室教研员郭植梅老师、广东省外语职业艺术学院的谭伟民教授、广州市名师徐淑燕老师就7节课作了精彩的点评，肯定了每一位上课老师对于小学阅读课堂教学的探索和实践。
通过听取点评，我也产生了以下想法：阅读教学既是小学英语教学的重点，也是教学上的难点。学生通知阅读学习词汇，句型和语法等基础知识，同时还可以获取英语信息，了解英语国家的社会文化。现代教学法强调课文整体教学，这里的整体教学不仅仅是指有完整故事情节的教学，而主要是指把语言形式教学和语言意义教学有机结合起来的教学。同时把“学习阅读”和“阅读学习”紧密地结合起来，这样做不仅有利于学生学习语言基础知识，获得丰富的语言信息，同时还能掌握独立的阅读技巧，从而使学生增长知识，开阔了视野，激发了兴趣。
