复合重句 中，where 和which用法有点歧义，如下题

定语从句的关系词有它在从句中所充当的成分决定
这句中所需关系词在从句中充当宾语，所以选用关系代词which
where是关系副词，在从句中只能做地点状语。
例如;this is the place where he once lived.
where 在从句中做地点状语。

关系副词when, where, why,how的含义相当于"介词+ which"结构，因此常常和"介词+ which"结构交替使用，例如：
There are occasions when (on which) one must yield.
Beijing is the place where (in which) I was born.
Is this the reason why (for which) he refused our offer?
I’m surprised the way how (by which) he works out the problem

where是对的，因为前面说This is the place ，是个地方，当然用where

which
where指地点而他the place已经是地点

which,VISIT后面需要宾语

这里缺少的是宾语,所以应该选which.
