从2日上午10时28分，“风之后”奥运冠军李丽珊手持火炬从香港文化中心起跑，到下午5时左右著名自行车运动员黄金宝在金紫荆广场将圣火盆点燃，北京奥运会的圣火在香港走过了26公里，火炬传递香港站接力活动圆满结束。香港上百万的市民涌上街头，亲眼见证了这一历史性的时刻。
