英语单词seprate 和differ 和divided的区别

separate 动词=(使)分开，(使)分离:
be separated from someone dear
They separated us when we were babies.
形容词：After the divorce we each went separate ways.

differ 动词=不同于：
1.Even though they are twins, the girls differ in many ways.
2.意见分歧：Teenage sisters often differ.

divided=divide 动词的过去式=
1.分开：
The two brothers were divided in their taste of sports.
2.分配：He divided the cake in two halves and gave a each boy a piece.
3.是产生分歧：It was an issue which divided the small country.
4.除以：100divided by 2 is 50.
