摘要：学校体育是实施素质教育不可缺少的组成部分，课外体育活动是实现学校体育目的与任务的重要途径，在培养中学生的整体素质中有其独特的作用。以阜阳市10所中学学生参加体育活动的动机及参加两操和课外体育活动的情况等方面对当前阜阳市中学学生参与课外体育锻炼的现状进行了调查与分析，指出其中存在的问题，并提出了建议。
