摘要：封建王朝为了巩固其统治，将档案工作方面的内容纳入法律的范畴，以律令来保证档案工作的正常进行，实行依法治档。明清两朝的统治者更是吸取前代封建统治阶级的经验,继承和借鉴了历代文书档案立法的内容和传统，使档案管理制度进一步完善。
