一、本文介绍了无线局域网的组成、原理、无线局域网的类型以及运作方式。
二、介绍了无线局域网主流的几种安全机制，有线等效加密(WEP)、端口访问控制技术(IEEE802.1x)、WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access)。包括它们的技术原理、所能解决的问题以及不足之处。并简单介绍了两种重要的加密协议TKIP与CCMP。
三、本文根据OSI的层次结构对无线局域网的安全性进行了逐层的分析，其中包括每层的安全机制和安全漏洞，以及针对这些漏洞的攻击手段。最后提出了相应的解决办法。
四、总结了采用什么方法保障无线局域网的安全。其中包括逻辑上的架构，以及安全性的架构。针对不同规模、不同安全性要求的无线局域网，采用不同的机制保障无线网络安全。
