As they walked through the forest they saw a large parrot and the parrot said to them:"Follow me! Follow me!"
They followed the parrot. After a while the came to a narrow bridge. The two children were frightened but they continued walking. When they crossed the bridge the parrot landed on a tree near the cliff. The children stopped. Just then they heard someone calling for help.
They looked around and saw a man near the edge of the cliff. He lay down because he fell and broke his leg.
The children ran for help and soon a helicopter arrived to take the man to hospital.He was the owner of the parrot.He asked the children to look after the parrot while he was in hospital.Arthur and Christine were delighted.
