Scientists on Venus are discussing the feasibility of landing a manned flying saucer on Earth, based on information received from a satellite.
Their conclusions are that the planet Earth is unfit for habitation(居住) because of its highly polluted condition. For one thing, deadly gases in the atmosphere make it extremely dangerous to breathe. For another, the water, also polluted, has become undrinkable. For these reasons, it would be difficult for anyone to survive(幸存) on Earth.
Undoubtedly the flying saucer program will be set back under these conditions, the Venusian scientists are determined to proceed with their exploration of the planet Earth.
