在此次毕业设计中以机械产品研发的案例，应用项目管理的基本理论和方法，对齿轮减速器产品开发与创新项目的计划和控制开展了系统性和实用性的研究。从机械产品开发与创新的角度，运用了项目管理的理论和方法，深入系统地研究了研发新产品过程中涉及的项目计划、人力资源、市场战略、技术创新战略等各个重要的项目管理环节，构建了机械类产品开发与创新项目管理的理论框架、评价体系与模型。
