On May 12th 2008 28 pass 14, a Richter 8.0 earthquake took place in Wenchuan, Sichuan province. Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Shaanxi, and other various provinces and cities felt obvious. Up to now, the earthquake has caused nearly 70,000 people died in Sichuan, 18627

The huge earthquake has a great influence on Chinese economy. Lots of ways was destroyed in this disaster. Almost all the foundational facility needs rebuilt. These cause a lots big company loss their interests in Sichuan. The government speed 25 billion to relief the victim, and 70 billion to rebuild their home. This is another negative influence cause by the earthquake. As Chinese economy was suffering a large pressure of inflation, the government decided to decrease the money supply to slow down the circulate of the currency. But the earthquake set a barrier to this policy. It brought a lot of uncertainty to the future economy.
