无线传感器网络在工业、农业、交通、军事、安全、医疗、空间探测、以及家庭和办公环境等众多领域都有着广泛的应用，其研究、开发和应用关系到国家安全、经济发展等许多重要方面。无线传感器网络的分析与关系是无线传感器网络研究和应用中的一个重点和难点，无线传感器网络的分析与管理需要一个后台系统支持。现在市场上有很多现有的后台管理软件，但是对于自己设计的硬件平台需要有配套的软件支持。本文对基于ZigBee的无线传感器网络后台测试平台的设计进行了研究。
首先，对该软件的组成进行了分析，把它分为软件接口层、业务层和数据库层，继而再分为串口控件、图形用户界面、数据处理引擎和数据库以及后台组件几个模块。再对各个模块进行设计完成，最终组成完整的程序。程序的编写是在VC++开发环境下实现的。
