用自己的话说as和 when的区别？

可不可以把as变成when呢？

as,when都可以表示当什么什么时，as还可以表原因，作为。
当...：he rushed in as she is taking her clothes off.
原因: as he was seriously ill, he didn't came to school.
作为：he served as my tutor when i was young.

这要看具体语境了，你这里只有一个从句，没有主句，无法判断，
AS在从句中也有多种意思，有当（WHEN），因为（BECAUSE）等等。
