关于remove的用法

有两句例句： remove dust off one's shoes

remove his name from the list

两句的介词为什么不一样？

off有落下，掉下的意思。此句是把鞋子上的土弄掉，类似还有fall off the bike,从自行车上掉下来，get off the bus, 下车等
from更强调来源，名字是列在名单上的。类似还有出choose from, learn from等

remove sth/sb from sth/sb 是正规用法！而remove off一般一常用，如果是在口语中可以接收，但书面语言就算介词用法错误喽
