The professer is quite difficult to be pleased.这句话对吗？？
我觉得是对的。有人却说是The professer is quite difficult to please.
大家可以看下两个例句：1.This work is hard to do.（不定式作定语）
2.The book is said to be translated into serveral languages.

应该说这两种说法都是对的。

首先，The professer is quite difficult to please，意为：那位教授很难取悦。The professer is quite difficult to be pleased则意为：那位教授很难知足
以上两句中please 和be pleased意思不同，尤其要说明的是 to be pleased 并非是想当然的被取悦的意思，而是be+形容词，表示高兴，满足。

"professer"教授的拼写错了，应为professor

如果是说：这个教授很难被感动/讨好，或指这个教授的要求很难达到，则lz是对的
The professor is quite difficult to be pleased.
（这里please作及物动词，解释为被感动、被满足；故为他人满足这个教授，省略主动主语，写作 be pleased.）

这里主要是please的用法问题，please可做及物或不及物动词，但词意上有所区别。
