UC知道英文邮件有格式吗？

给老外发邮件需要用DEAR XX来开头吗？我一般都按照英文书信的格式写，最后都署上sincerely. 可是老外一般都是best regards. 而且也不称呼我为DEAR，请把具体形式详细说一下，谢谢
For formal letters, yes, you need to start with "Dear XXX..." and use "Sincerely,....)
But more and more people choose informal format, especially for Americans.
That is why you see different expressions now.
如果不知道是谁，开头可以用；
To whom it may concern;
最后可以署上Sincerely.

Our best regard ( 如果是两人以上 ）
