1、the useful thing是特指的一件有意义的事情所以用the(可能前面有语境,就是在说这件事,题中这句话表示一个决定),而useless thing则是泛指所以用a
2、呃...这个those经常这么用,后面的“doing ...”是对those的一个修饰,是一个定语从句,宾语是those;这个地方选B不对,因为whomever/whoever(当然还有whatever等等)只能用来引导让步状语从句而不能引导主语宾语从句,不能放在这个地方当宾语
3、我觉得答案错了...应该选D,是两者之间嘛```不能太相信答案了
4、这是表示比例的一种用法记住就行哈```什么1 out of 5就是五分之一啦,4 out of 9就是九分之四啦都一样的,“...out of...”来表示比例
5、as much as记得不是很清楚了...呵呵我记得是表示强调吧,就是“他非常认同整个事件”的意思

其他的我就不说了，同意2楼，说说第三题，答句中的both实际上是指贵和没有用这两个方面来说的并不是说眼睛是两个，眼镜的个数可以从best，判断出来，用最高级一般是三者或三者以上故答案没错。
