Who Killed the Newspaper, an Economist article published on August 24th, resurrects the issue of changing media trends--and with it advertising spend. Over the last few decades, we’ve seen a significant evolution in how people are spending their free time and what media they’re watching/reading. Who Killed the Newspaper raised a slew of very interesting points and I wanted to hear your opinions. Do you think the newspaper as we know it will disappear? Will this change the essential “fourth estate” role that reporters have played for so long?
