Well, I don't quite for this way of learning English. And there is no once-and-for-all measure of increasing your vocabulary in short time. In my opinion, the best way is to read variously, penetratingly and persistently day after day.
Besides reading, one also should write as much as possible to transfer the new words finally into one's own treasure of knowledge.
