Abstract: 城市绿化 has become a fashionable word in society. This branch of study focuses on the relationship between city and environment. The following paper describes concepts and scientific background behind 城市绿化. From a biological perspective, it is proposed that in different urban spaces, regardless of whether plants are used as foreground or share the foreground with other items, it is important to consider method of distribution, artistic handling, and species variety as well as quantity of the plants.
