suggest只加do可以吗？

suggest ，动词，建议，暗示 ，后面可以接

1）名词、代词或动名词；suggest sb doing sth

2）疑问词引导的不定式或宾语从句；suggest what to do/ what we should do

3）that引导的宾语从句:

当做建议的意思讲时，后面所接的从句要用虚拟语气形式. .

其基本构成为should+动词原型,should可省略.
举个例子来说
My suggestion is that we should add some sand to the soil.

I suggest holding a meeting to discuss the proble

所以suggest后面不可以直接加动词原形。
