spy和agent什么区别

agent，用的更广，更多，可以公开也可以秘密，间谍、探员、特工等
spy，用的少，一般秘密

spy是间谍 （秘密的）
agent是探员 （公开的）

spy 就是(military) a secret agent hired by a state to obtain information about its enemies or by a business to obtain industrial secrets from competitors
agent 是any agent or representative of a federal agency or bureau

agent是特工之类的
spy就是间谍

spy 是间谍 agent 是特工，其实意思是差不多
不过感觉是两个不同立场的人用的词语而已，就像日本武士
在他们国家是武士，在咱们国家就是鬼子
