He carried the bed on to the roof of his house.
这里为什么在bed后加了on 和to 两个东西,用下面这两个不行吗?
He carried the bed to the roof of his house.
He carried the bed on the roof of the house.

on to连在一起用有一个向上动的趋势，他往楼顶搬床。“往”有一个动的趋向。
如果只说on，不就成了：他在楼顶搬床，或者他在楼顶背着床，意思都不准确。
只说to，可以，他把床搬到楼顶。不过没有on to好吧。
