如何区别exception与anomaly?

这两个单词都有例外、异常的意思,我从词典上看不出来该如何区别。

exception：
1.例外
2.If someone takes exception(to)something or someone they are offended or made angry by it.生气，不悦，愤恨
anomaly：
fml a person or thing that is different from what is unsual,or not in agreement with something else and therefore not satisfactory.异常，反常，畸形，不规则。
注意：前者的例外是与其他事物相比时（仅仅）不同而成为例外，后者强调是UNSUAL，不正常而成为例外。我查的剑桥字典。
