摘要：北京奥运会的成功举办，为奥林匹克运动做出了巨大贡献，同时也是我国推进高校竞技体育工作的重大机遇。在未来的一段时间里，竞技体育人才的培养和开发将会是各国竞技体育研究的核心问题。竞技体育人才培养回归学校是大势所趋。社会发展的核心是人的发展，人既是推进社会发展的动力，又是社会价值的目标。培养高文化、高修养和高技能的“三高型”全面发展的竞技体育人才始终离不开学校教育。针对北京奥运会后高校竞技体育人才培养模式的发展趋势，本文采用了文献资料法，数据整理法，对比法和专家访谈法等研究方法，深入分析我国竞技体育的发展格局，以及高校在我国竞技体育人才培养中的作用和地位。针对发展中的不足，提出相应的建议和策略。旨在为推动我国高校竞技体育人才的研究和开发方向提供依据。
