humans should not try to avoid stress any more than they would shun food ,love or exercise.大意是人类不应该试图再躲避压力，就像他们不躲避食物爱情和运动样。
我想问一下这里是出现了not ...any more"不再.."嘛？那than 在这里是什么意思，难道是“像，就如”的意思。就像“if”样嘛
than =if ...not应该是“正如什么什么不”才对吧？因为这里stay away from 是躲避之间。到底怎样啊希望各位高手说一下啊

not any more =as……
意指两者情况一样。我转换一下句子，楼主应该比较容易理解：
humans should not try to avoid stress any more than they would shun food ,love or exercise===humans should not try to avoid stress as they would not shun food ,love or exercise.
