Wal-Mart进军中国市场的方式
Wal-Mart到中国市场有两种方式。第一、设分店与外国零售业者在经济繁荣的中国展开正面竞争。Wal-Mart百货于一九九六年进入中国市场，目前在中国拥有六十六家分店。计划将来在中国增设二十家分店并且增雇十五万名员工来因应未来分店业务成长的需要。第二、收购中国超市连锁店，首先，购入外国零售商少数股份，再逐步增加持股数，最终取得控股权。Wal-Mart同意出资十亿美元收购台资企业好又多贩量(Trust- Mart)，Wal-Mart可望藉由这项交易，一跃成为中国最大的食品和百货供货商。这笔收购交易将分阶段进行，先收购三十一家好又多连锁超市，未来三年，再逐步收购遍布二十几个省份的一百家好又多超市，并接收三万多名员工。
