sick 和ill,ought to和should的区别

相同，作为形容词时，都可作表语
区别，sick可作定语，ill不能，如sick man ，the sick 而不是ill man ，the ill
但当ill作‘坏的’，‘恶劣’解时，则通常作为定语，不作表语，如，he had a ill name .

ought to和should的区别
1) should和ought to表示责任、建议或劝告，翻译为“应该”，后者语气强一些。
如：You should listen to the doctor's advice if you want to recover soon.
Such things ought not to be allowed.
2) should接动词的完成式，是一种谴责，表示过去应该做而没有做或过去做了而不应该做。
如：I missed the class. I should have come earlier.
I shouldn't have made such a foolish mistake.

sick 能作系动词 而ill不能
ought to 又完成时态 而should没又
