promise和grant都是答应的意思
He promised me the book.

意思看上去非常接近，请问在都是解作“答应”，两者之间有何分别？

grant 是书面正式用法
英文定义：to give someone something or allow them to have something that they have asked for（1.给某人某个东西；2.允许别人有他们要求的东西）
如：

常用搭配

promise
