be away与be away for

这里”be away two weeks”为什么不是”be away for two weeks”?

我们在书信或口语这些非正式语中常常会省略一些不必要的介词，你还是学生吧，你以后如果工作涉及到英语时或者跟老外交流你会发现没有你们学的那么咬文嚼字。
正规来讲这里必须有for，但是口语讲多了后会发现有没有都一样，我现在就是这样的感觉。

这里是口语用法，口语没什么规则可循，但是按语法来说是要加for的。。。

我觉得应该是加上for的呀
是不是因为口语就省了呢？
