Is English Language Teaching Overemphasized in Chinese Education?
As we know, there are several different levels in our Chinese education, including primary school level, middle school level, college level, and postgraduate level. Yet, from abovementioned education stages, English is the key subject and should be learned by students across the whole educational procedure. So it comes to the question that if the English Language Teaching is overemphasized in Chinese Education? I strongly disagree with this argument. The English language education is not overemphasized in Chinese education, on the contrary, we need to do more to help more people grasp and use English for communication.
Nowadays, the English teaching agencies or services could be seen everywhere in the urban downtown areas and this career is full of fierce competition. Why there are so many people want to take the risks to do this kind of job? Could they make profit? Certainly, they can.
