The 8XC52/54/58 is an enhanced version of 87C51/80C51BH/80C31BH.It has additional features such as programmable clock output and up/down counting capabilities.These features are required for motor control.
8XC51RA/RB/RC is an enhanced version of 8XC52/54/58. The additional features are:512 bytes on-chip RAM and dedicated hardware watchdog timer. The 80C51FA, 87C51FA/FB/FC and 83C51FA/FB/FC are suitable for applications which require pulse width modulation, high speed I/O and up/down counting capabilities such as motor control. FC series has 32K ROM/EPROM. FA/FB/FC series have 256 bytes of RAM.
