everywhere和here and there 的区别

新二课后练习题里的，帮忙看看！Patches of green had begun to appear. There was green grass _________.这两个选哪个？说明原因，谢谢！答得好追加分！

我觉得选here and there, 依据为前句的Patches of green had begun to appear，既然是begun to appear，应该就是比较零星地出现；而everywhere已经到处都是了，感觉是满眼绿意，与前句有矛盾．

选everyhere
everyhere是到处的意思，
here and there 是零星的意思。
