Dear Professor Thomas A. Hamade,
I am one of your students of you. I’ve learnt the course “Advanced Manufacturing Processes” on last term. The lessons which Professor Hamade taught are always vividly. The memory of your lesson is still fresh in my mind. And it also showed me a lot about manufacturing.
But, I’ve neglected the revision. It’s my fault. I have not passed the final exam and the make-up exam. I feel regretful. And, unfortunately, I can’t re-study this course till 2010.
The imminent problem is that I will graduate in June this year. I would not be able to get the diploma if I have no chance to pass this course. It must bring about so many unthinkable difficulties in future.
So I file a petition for an exam before my graduation. I hope Professor Hamade could give me a chance to retrieve my fault.

教授本人不好找，只好先写个书面的，他答应了在拿材料去让他批。

But, I’ve neglected the revision. It’s my fault. I have not passed the final exam and the make-up exam. I feel regretful. And, unfortunately, I can’t re-study(re-take) this course till(until, till is very informal) 2010.
