西蒙过完五岁生日的两天后,他第一次去了学校.
他的妈妈给他买了新衣服,还有一个装钢笔和书本的特别的书包.
学校离家很远，所以西蒙的妈妈早上送他去学校，在学校大门口离开了他。
“高兴一点，西蒙，”她说。“要听话。如果你表现不好的话老师会告诉我的。”
