the next year 似乎也能表达第二年吧 只不过是用于过去将来时 是吧? 所以这题应该选C吧？前面would like to就已经表示了这句话时态是过去时啊，而且西部一定要加the么？这是中考复习题目

第一个空 特指 我们国家西部
第二个空 年份名词前不用+冠词
the是来指定west part，指的是“西部”。next year前不加定冠词
D。特指西部加the，next year时间状语,如tomorrow就不加the。
这里would like to 不是过去时，是意欲，想的意思~
