经过我方仓库工作人员核查，发现约有40袋未按合同规定装坚固纸袋，致使在运输中破损。这完全是仓库主任的疏忽所致。对此，我们作为出口商向你方致以歉意。
兹随函寄去579号支票一张，计1，146美元，用以最终并全部了结此索赔案。收到后请及时函告我方。
我们希望这一事件不会影响你我之间的良好关系和今后的交易。

You lodged a claim on the short delivery of fertilizer in your letter of Sep 6th. We feel deeply sorry for this unfortunate accident. We believe that you may have encountered many difficulties in your implement of client's order of goods.
After our workers' recheck in the warehouse,finding out that about 40 sacks were not equiped with solid paper sacks,which caused the leak during the transportation. This shoud totally be blamed to the Director of the warehouse. We apologize as exporters .
Here,we post a cheque No579 amounts USD 1,146 with the letter.Aiming at finnaly to solute this claim. Please write us after your receiving the cheque.
