说句实话，人家美国人英语里没这句谚语 这是中国人自己的方言。 何必太较真呢？，。。。。。。 真难。。。

如果你这句话是翻译给中国人看的,可以这样翻译:
The eyes of the people are bright.

但如果是说给外国人听的,应该这样说:
People have clear idea.
