Any more than the absolute temperature 0 ℃ objects can have a thermal radiation, while the temperature is below 1725 ℃ objects produced by thermal radiation spectrum concentrated in the infrared light region, therefore all objects of nature can be infrared radiation field. And any objects because of their physical and chemical properties different from their own different temperature of the infrared radiation generated by the wavelength and distance are not the same, usually divided into three bands.
Near-infrared: 0.75 ~ 3μm wavelength range
Mid-IR: 3 ~ 25μm wavelength range
Far-infrared: the wavelength range 25 ~ 1000μm
Human optical wavelength infrared radiation 3 ~ 50μm, of which 8 ~ 14μm 46%, the peak wavelength of 9.5μm.

凡是温度超过绝对0℃的物体都能产生热辐射，而温度低于1725℃的物体产生的热辐射光谱集中在红外光区域，因此自然界的所有物体都能向外辐射红外热。而任何物体由于本身的物理和化学性质的不同、本身温度不同所产生的红外辐射的波长和距离也不尽相同，通常分为三个波段。
