关于英语里面 'd 得到用法

请教'd 的用法，是什么的省略？ 在英语里这个有什么特定名称吗？（因为我在baidu上搜'd什么都没搜到）

还有其省略后的音标，读音 应该是怎样？

例如:where'd he hide it?

'd better = had better
'd like =would like
where'd he hide itz这里应该是where did ……
这种缩写要看语境，读音就是/d/(的）

其一：'d 是would 的缩写，多见于以下句型中：
（1）’d like to do...
（2）'d mind doing...
例句：
1.I'd like to have something cold to drink in such a hoy weather.
2.He'd not mind going to a dinner with you.But you have to invite him yourself.

其二：'d 是 had 的缩写，多用于 'd better do...句型中
例句：
You'd better write your homework now.
You'd better not play the video games

一般You'd=You had,I'd=I would
但You'd很少理解为You would 或者 You should 的缩写，虽然语法上过得去，但外国人不习惯这么说。
