①other常起形容词的作用、修饰名词单数、复数、意为“别的”，“共他的”。

②the other表示“两者中的另一个”

③another表示“三者或三者以上当中的另一个”，也可以表示“再”“又”。

④others表示泛指、只能作代词

⑤the others 表示特指，指代某范围中除去某部分后，余下的全部人或物。
