ARPA is the main deviece of the watercarf navigation system which is used to avoid collision.If properly used,it will do much good to the safety of the watercraft sailing.This word discribed the definition,consititution and limitation of the ARPA.The influnce of a part of the limitation of the ARPA on the avoid navigation was discussed and analyzed.I also research the limitation and the solution of the test boat,trail vision and the aim recording.Working on this thesis made me know more limitation and influnce of it on the avoid navigation.So this thesis meaned much practically to me on my futrue work.
