My Favorite Teacher

When I started high school
I thought you were cool
I like you because you're funny
Except when you make me study
I like when we talk one on one
Or when we say let's just have fun

Maybe one day I'll be like you
And have students who think I'm cool
So for now I'll say
Talking to you makes my day
Now I have one year left
But I'll always remember the time that we've spent
The time has flown by
And when I leave I must cry
For I will miss you most
And I swear I will not boast

I hope you always remember the fun that we've had
Thank you for everything you've done
Because of you I know I've won
I understand more
Than I ever did before
I hope this makes your day
