摘 要
随着社会经济与科技的发展，我国餐饮业正逐步走向成熟。餐饮行业中以国有经济为主的时代已成为历史。当前国际发展大环境的条件下，中国的餐饮空间设计将处于何种地位？将如何发展？这都是我们所要思考和探索的问题，尤其是在中国这样一种设计和技术都相对落后于发达国家的现实中，有很多现实问题亟待解决，有很多课题有待研究。从目前国内的总体状况看。所反映出的问题可以归纳为四个方面。
第一，把餐饮空间设计仅仅看成是装饰材料的运用，比例、色彩、符号的重组、构成，忽视了餐饮空间设计的主题性营造。
第二，盲目抄袭符号导致餐饮空间设计无主题性无目的性，缺乏主题营造。
第三，普遍存在追求“豪华”、“气派”的倾向，在餐饮空间设计中没有趣味性，不能满足当今消费者的精神需求。
第四，餐饮空间设计中光的运用存在许多问题。
今天的游客和商者更有知识，更挑剔，同时也更有求知欲望，主题性餐饮空间是体验当地文化、生态环境,获得不同的风俗人文，增长见识，培养素质重要手段。由此可见，餐饮应该是一个“文化艺术殿堂”，将文化艺术融入餐饮空间，使之具有独特的韵味，吸引更多的宾客，是设计师设计规划中必做的前期功课。

How will it develop? These issues are which we need to think and explore. Especially，the reality is that Chinese design and technology are lagging behind the developed countries, so there are many realities which need to be resolved, there are many issues to be studied.
