教师对一些学习上比较困难、从不或很少提问的学生，要充分予以关注，分析和了解其原因，不能漠视。如果漠视这些后进生，不仅会打击他们的主动性和进取心，还会引起他们对教师的不满和对优秀学生的排斥，他们变得既不愿意与教师交流，也不愿和别的同学交流。教育心理学认为，学习后进生同样有进取心，让他们获得某一种成功，设法满足他们的成功欲，不仅可以使他们看到自己的潜力，增强进步的信心和勇气，还可以激起他们对更大成功的追求，并由此引发战胜困难的决心和毅力。这种积极肯定的态度，会对学生产生良好的心理暗示，使学生减少胆怯心理，充满自信地投入到各种教学活动中去。
制约课堂教学质量的因素是多方面的，提高课堂教学效果的方法和途径也是多种多样的，但是在课堂教学中，如果我们重视并善于构建有效的师生互动，那么就能充分发挥这一教学策略的有效作用，就有利于我们取得更好的教学效果，从而实现预期的教学目标。
