城市热环境是城市空间环境在热力场中的综合表现，研究城市热环境可以了解城市的空间结构和城市的发展状况。本研究运用LST地表亮温反演法对被研究城市的高分辨率卫星Landsat TM图像进行亮温反演。运用热岛强度分级的方法把反演后的城市亮温分成不同等级的热力斑块，同时引入景观空间格局分析的研究方法，用热力景观的观点来研究城市热场。本研究对成都平原南部三个中小城市主城区的热场进行了对比研究，用图像反映了三个城市的热环境状况，并用定量的数据反映了各城市间热力景观的差异。总决对比分析后，为改善城市环境，缓解城市热岛效应提出了可行性意见。
