Is there what you want?语法上对么？

不对。

Is there... 是there be 句型，意思是“有”，表示“人或事物的存在”或“某地有某物”。

例如： Is there a computer on the desk？

           桌子上有一台电脑吗？

如果加从句，一般是加定语从句

例如：There are lots of people there who can actually help you.

           那里有一些能够彻底帮助你的人们。

而 what you want  这个从句在此处不合适，可以改成：

1. Is there a bike that you want？ 有你想要的自行车吗？

   把 what you want 换成 that you want 定语从句，修饰前面的a bike或是其他名词

2. 把 Is there 换成 Is that ，后面 what you want 不变，构成表语从句。

   Is that what you want？ 那就是你想要的吗？

是这个意思吧，如果是，那么说成：Is this what you want ?其实更好。

没必要用there

也就是说，

你老师说there be后面不能跟名词性从句，而且，用的时候，在句子里也一定要把what放句首，意思就是：像你说的那种情况，
there都可以用this/these;that/those the等代替。

这是语言习惯。
